On top of the core is a 2 inch layer of 3lb. viscoelastic foam. The MemSleep 7000 includes a luxurious terry cloth cover. This mattress is a fantastic price leader and should be price competitive with just about any other quality memory foam bed on the market. Because of the 2 inch 3lb. layer of memory foam on top, it is also a great configuration for those looking for a softer feel.
