The Cloud 9 Air Mattress Beds TalaSleep 8000 Series mattresses use a unique layered construction, including a 5.6 inch base of 36 ILD latex, on top which is a 1.9 inch layer of 24 ILD Talalay latex, and then a 0.9 inch layer of 19 ILD Talalay latex. This layering system allows the sleeper to experience the plushness of a softer top layer along with the support of a firmer middle and bottom layer. Varying degrees of firmness can be achieved by using different ILD ratings in the top two layers.
