Volvo cars will complete its lineup of products with electric power options, starting 2019. The presence of a new generation of Swedish car engines is preceded by the emergence of the latest V40.
Playing in the compact hatch segment, the Volvo V40 will be robust in terms of sales with Volkswagen Golf and Ford Focus. Through the 40.2 concept design that has been exhibited last May, Volvo rumored to build the latest generation V40 using XC40 base.
Adopting Compact Modula Architecture (CMA), the new Volvo V40 will be offered with a variety of engine options such as D3 and D4 which are four-cylinder diesels. In addition, T4 and T5 engine as a gasoline or petrol drinker.
The most interesting part is the addition of two types of engines namely plug-in hybrid and pure electric. Both complement the choice of machine desired by the consumer later. The battery offered has two types of magnitudes.
The standard battery that manufacturers offer to customers is said to be more efficient in everyday use. While the battery with a larger size can travel longer distances, more powerful and of course more expensive tager.
Can not be certain exactly when Volvo will introduce the latest generation of V40, especially the electric powered. But growing rumors say that Volvo V40 is the latest generation of the day in the second half of 2019.
